Teatro Gioco Vita
Story for Music and
Shadows from LčOiseau de Feu by Igor Stravinsky
The union of TEATRO GIOCO VITA and Shadow Theater dates back to the end of the 1970s. Drawing from the established traditions of European Shadow Theater, Teatro Gioco Vita developed an individual style based on research into space, light, objects, body, animation and animator. Initially, Gioco Vita aimed at deepening its ability. Subsequently, it focused on redefining its expressive language by recreating on stage the complex relationship between body, shadow puppet and shadow.
Thanks to its professional skills and coherence and the precious contributions from outside collaborators, the Company has been able to develop a unique style which has brought it international acclaim as well as prestigious collaborations with other companies all over the world.
