San Francisco theater artist Larry Reed joins forces with Bali¹s premiere Shadow Master and one of its foremost gamelan musicians to reinvent the ancient art of shadow theater. This phantasmagoria of image, light, and sound features a cast of thirteen puppeteers, actors, and musicians, a multitude of puppets and an enormous stage-wide screen. Mercurial and luminous, Wayang Listrik once again demonstrates that Reed is a "true genius with light and motion."
