GEORGE LATSHAW began his professional career in the theatre when he was selected by the Detroit Puppet Theatre to design and direct its production of Aaron Coplandıs Billy the Kid. Mr. Latshaw studied theatre at the University of North Carolina and Yale Drama School. His long list of credits includes the puppet Carrot Top in the film Lili and the NBC Childrenıs Theatre special The Great Quillow, adapted from the James Thurber tale. Latshaw creates, designs and builds his puppet characters. He is also a writer and teacher of the art of puppetry. Currently, he resides in Macedonia, OH and travels the world performing his shows for children.
